About Our Homestay, Rooms and Tariff

Mangrove Pitta Homestay situated near the outskirts of Bhitarkanika National Park. Anyone can check from GMAP Mangrove Pitta Homestay. It was founded in November 2018 by Bijay Kumar Das is a Wildlife guide and Naturalist. It has 10 rooms in a 3 storied building. On the ground floor it has 4 rooms, a garden and dining room. On the first floor it has 4 rooms and a balcony. Second floor has 2 separate rooms and 2 separate balconies. In 10 rooms 6 rooms are double sharing rooms and 4 rooms are 4 sharing rooms. Total capacity is 28 persons which is comfortable. All rooms has attached and western toilets and geysers. Among 10 rooms 6 rooms have ac facilities. The homestay has a separate garden and pink lotus Ponds. We have camp fire facilities in the garden against payment. We also have free wifi. All lunch, dinner and breakfast is complimentary within room charges. All meals are buffet. In nonveg we provide fish, prawn, chicken and crab which will be available fresh in this area. Also vegetarians have their own choice of different vegetables and Paneer.

Room Tarrif:-

Double sharing Ac room price is Rs.3500 including all meals for 2 persons and Non-ac rooms are Rs.3000 including all meals for 2 people.

Single occupancy in double sharing room is Rs.2750 with all meals in ac room and Rs.2000 in non ac rooms.

Nearest Railway Stations: Bhadrak (about 77 km away) and Cuttack (about 120 km away). From these railway stations, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Bhitarkanika.

By Road:

From Bhubaneswar: Drive via NH16 to Chandbali (approximately 150 km), then proceed to the homestay.

From Cuttack: Drive via NH16 to Chandbali, then proceed to the homestay.

From Bhadrak: Drive to Chandbali or Gupti, then proceed to the homestay.

Reaching Mangrove Pitta Homestay:
